About The Position

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking online adjunct faculty for its Quantitative Studies/Ops Management program for Global Campus. This remote position involves engaging students in an asynchronous and inclusive learning environment by providing guidance and resources within pre-developed online courses. The role supports students by offering instruction, feedback, and application-based learning to help them achieve their academic and career goals. The faculty will report to the faculty dean team and will instruct courses such as QSO630 - Supply Chain Management.

Requirements

Doctorate in Operations Management; Supply Chain Management; Project Management; Management Science (includes PhD/DBA in Business Administration with a focus in one of these areas)
2 years or more professional experience in operations management
APICS certification, CPIM

Responsibilities

Prioritize Student Engagement – Work with students by responding within set timeframes and reaching out to students needing additional support.
Recognize student needs holistically and connect them with resources.
Encourage participation, collaboration, and faculty-student relationships to enhance learning and build skills.
Stay current in your field of expertise, share your experience, and recommend relevant supplementary materials to enhance student understanding of course content.
Find accessible ways to explain complex topics.
Evaluate student work and provide individualized, constructive feedback within set timeframes to promote growth and mastery of course outcomes.
Encourage student interaction through active participation in online discussions while promoting an inclusive, engaging, and respectful environment that promotes open dialogue and diverse perspectives.
