About The Position

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking online adjunct faculty for its Quantitive Studies/Ops Mgmt program for Global Campus. The role involves engaging students in an asynchronous and inclusive learning environment by providing guidance and resources in a pre-developed online course. The faculty member will support students by providing instruction, feedback, and experiential and application-based learning to help them achieve their learning and career goals. This is a remote position available in all US States except California. The specific course seeking instructors for is QSO345 - Project Management for CAPM® Certification.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management; Project Management; Operations Management; Management Science; OR MBA with CAPM/PMP + 3 yrs relevant work experience
  • 2 years or more Professional experience in Project Management
  • Faculty need to be an Authorized Training Partner (ATP), approved by PMI.org and SNHU, and listed in the PMI.org database of approved instructors.
  • PMP certification is a prerequisite to be an ATP.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize Student Engagement – Work with students by responding within set timeframes and reaching out to students needing additional support.
  • Recognize student needs holistically and connect them with resources.
  • Encourage participation, collaboration, and faculty-student relationships to enhance learning and build skills.
  • Stay current in your field of expertise, share your experience, and recommend relevant supplementary materials to enhance student understanding of course content.
  • Find accessible ways to explain complex topics.
  • Evaluate student work and provide individualized, constructive feedback within set timeframes to promote growth and mastery of course outcomes.
  • Encourage student interaction through active participation in online discussions while promoting an inclusive, engaging, and respectful environment that promotes open dialogue and diverse perspectives.
