About The Position

Veoneer Safety Systems is seeking a OneStream Sr. Developer and Administrator to provide technical leadership, ensure stability, and drive the continuous evolution of the OneStream platform. This role is crucial for supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and integrated business planning. The position operates hands-on as the in-house OneStream developer and administrator, collaborating with Finance, Operations, IT, and external implementation resources. Responsibilities include maintaining, enhancing, and scaling OneStream solutions across various planning and forecasting processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related field
5+ years of hands-on OneStream administration and development experience, including multiple implementation, enhancement, or support cycles in enterprise environments
Strong experience designing OneStream application architecture, including dimensional design, cube architecture, workflow orchestration, security model, dashboard/form strategy, and performance optimization
Deep technical capability in OneStream business rules, member formulas, data management, cube views, dashboards, forms, extensibility, and application troubleshooting
Experience with release management, environment promotion, regression testing, and production support across development, test, and production environments
Strong understanding of data integration architecture, including source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, data quality controls, and interfaces between OneStream and ERP, ODS, data warehouse, and operational planning sources
Working knowledge of SQL, relational data structures, flat-file and API-based integrations, and technical troubleshooting for scheduled and workflow-driven data loads
Strong understanding of financial and operational planning processes within OneStream, including consolidation, close, forecasting
Experience supporting OneStream supply and demand planning solutions
Experience working with external implementation partners or consultants
Demonstrated Agile/Scrum experience
Strong communication, stakeholder partnership, and presentation skills across Finance, Operations, IT, and executive leadership
English language proficiency

Nice To Haves

OneStream certification in architecture, administration, implementation, or development is strongly preferred; equivalent demonstrated experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale OneStream solutions is highly valued
OneStream architecture, professional, or administrator certifications
Experience supporting OneStream marketplace solutions such as Planning Factory, driver-based forecasting, forecast seeding, or comparable operational planning solutions
Experience with cloud-hosted enterprise application support, service architecture concepts, security controls, and disaster recovery or business continuity considerations
Background in manufacturing, supply chain planning, or integrated business planning environments with complex global data models

Responsibilities

Own the technical architecture of Veoneer’s OneStream environment, including application design, business rules (VB.Net scripting, API), cube architecture, dimensionality, workflow design, security model, integration patterns, performance considerations, and environment strategy.
Implement and manage scenarios (Actual, Forecast, Strategic Plan), including recalculation scenarios.
Develop or update business rules (code) based on business requirements.
Manage promotion, release readiness, regression planning, deployment coordination, and post-release validation for enhancements.
Maintain Administration guidelines and technical documentation.
Configure and maintain role-based security, access provisioning, segregation of duties, audit support, and controlled change management practices.
Define and support data integration, transformation, and orchestration patterns between OneStream and source platforms.
Establish standards for solution design, reusable components, testing, issue triage, performance tuning, and technical documentation.
Support OneStream supply and demand planning solutions.
Work with external implementation partners or consultants while serving as the internal technical owner for solution quality, supportability, architecture decisions, and knowledge transfer.
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including backlog management, sprint participation, documentation review, prioritization of enhancement requests, and coordination of technical deliverables.
