OneStream Implementation & Support Contractor
About The Position
The OneStream Implementation & Support Contractor supports implementation, testing, and deployment of the OneStream platform. The role partners with Finance, IT, and the solution integrator on financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, close processes, and related integrations. A key deliverable is documentation for handover to future IT support team members and knowledge transfer to in-house support personnel. This contractor participates in OneStream implementation projects through go-live, helps define a future-state support model, supports testing and deployment, and contributes to financial controls, audit readiness, and system governance. The role is based onsite in Houston, Texas, Monday through Friday, with nine-hour shifts and every other Friday off. The contract is listed as 12 months or longer, with an open-ended duration.
Requirements
- OneStream implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of financial close, consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Understanding of SOX controls and financial compliance processes.
- SAP S/4HANA integration experience.
- Experience with OneStream application administration, including workflows, profiles, security, environments, and metadata maintenance.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot consolidation, including ownership structures, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, consolidation calculations, and journal entries.
- Experience with close operations, including workflow execution and monitoring, failed-step resolution, data certification, and close-cycle issue triage.
- Experience with OneStream Data Management, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, load validation, and reconciliation of SAP general ledger data.
- Experience developing financial reporting using Cube Views, financial statements, dashboards, and Excel-based reporting.
- Ability to read and troubleshoot OneStream Business Rules and calculation and validation logic.
- Ability to trace reported numbers through reports, cubes, transformations, and source data.
- Experience administering OneStream security groups and role-based access for finance users.
Responsibilities
- Participate in OneStream implementation projects from implementation through go-live.
- Gather and document IT support processes for consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, and close processes.
- Work with business and IT stakeholders to design a future-state support model.
- Assist implementation partners with testing and deployment activities.
- Support creation of controls that meet internal IT guidelines and principles.
- Work with the solution integrator to execute system integration, user acceptance, regression, and performance testing.
- Document test cases, defects, and remediation plans.
- Support production cutover planning and deployment readiness activities.
- Support financial controls, audit readiness, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain system documentation, process maps, and support procedures.
- Participate in change, release, and environment management processes.
- Provide documentation for handover and knowledge transfer to in-house support personnel.
