OnDemand Delivery Driver
About The Position
Gohfr is seeking on-demand delivery drivers to support a local client, delivering essential products to regional facilities within a 2-hour radius. This role offers flexible, meaningful work for independent drivers, including driver teams or partners, who are open to being "on call" for critical deliveries. Deliveries can occur at all hours of the day and early evenings. As a Gohfr Contractor Driver, you will pick up items from the local service center and deliver them directly to locations, responding to on-demand delivery alerts through the Gohfr driver app. Key responsibilities include handling goods with care, following delivery protocols, providing excellent customer service, maintaining professional conduct, and communicating any delivery issues or delays.
Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Reliable vehicle: car, SUV, or truck
- Own a smartphone (iOS or Android) with data plan for using the Gohfr app
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL not required)
- 3+ years of proven driving/delivery experience (medical or gig economy preferred)
- Pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Fluent in English (bilingual drivers welcome)
- Maintain vehicle insurance, registration, and inspection
- Submit a completed IRS Form W-9 for 1099 contract classification
- Professional appearance and current profile photo in app
Nice To Haves
- Experience with other gig platforms (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, Amazon Flex) highly desirable
- Driver teams or partners encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Pick up goods from the client’s service center
- Deliver to locations promptly and professionally within a ~200-mile range
- Respond to on-demand delivery alerts through the Gohfr driver app
- Handle goods and items with care and follow delivery protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions
- Maintain professional, conscious conduct during deliveries
- Communicate with Gohfr and clients regarding any delivery issues or delays
