Requirements

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential, or equivalent (RVT, LVT), from an accredited veterinary technician program.
Proven track record of clinical leadership and or prior experience in an Oncology setting.
Must attain an OR CVT license within 45 days of starting the position.

Responsibilities

Supports the veterinary oncologist in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Assists with diagnostic procedures, chemotherapy administration, anesthesia, patient monitoring, and client education.
Plays a critical role in ensuring that each patient receives timely and effective treatments.
Triages medical situations and follows directives from the veterinary team.
Ensures the oncology department operates at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of compassionate care.
Refines workflows and invests in staff development to create a seamless journey for patients and a supportive environment for the team.
