About The Position
Coordinates patient social service needs and works with assigned staff. Participates in hospital wide activities or projects. Disseminates information to appropriate committees and departments. Serves clinically and administratively as a resource in providing the highest quality of care, ensures continuity of care and assists in providing bereavement services. Working Conditions: Tasks involve occasional and/or unplanned exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue.
Requirements
- BA degree in Social work or equivalent field
- 2-4 years required, 5-8 years preferred
- Certified Social Worker required
