About The Position

Performs an integral role with the care team for coordination of complex chemotherapy and cancer treatment scheduling. Manages all aspects of scheduling of multi-day and multi-week treatment cycle schedules for high acuity patients. Responsible for scheduling treatment including infusion treatments, transfusion, labs, surgery, and radiation treatment for oncology patients. Demonstrates and conveys a cheerful and favorable disposition during stressful patient care delivery for a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• One (1) year scheduling experience in a hospital or clinic with complex scheduling algorithms.
• Oncology related scheduling experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient Navigators with clerical tasks to facilitate communication and collaboration with patients, families, external facilities, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Completes assigned tasks for the day related to records collection and coordination of care.
