The PRN Oncology Registered Nurse provides as-needed professional nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting. This role delivers direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and established clinical protocols, including patient assessment, chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, care planning, clinical interventions, and evaluation of patient outcomes. The PRN Oncology RN supports patient care needs based on variable scheduling, patient volume, and operational demand while upholding the mission, vision, and values of MSRH. Work is performed under the supervision of nursing leadership and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The PRN role requires flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and call-back as needed.
