Oncology RN PRN Days
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This PRN, Days position involves direct and comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member, providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Oncology Unit (2A) is a 10-bed unit caring for Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients. Nurses can build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while developing specialty skills in chemotherapy and oncology care. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position.
Nice To Haves
- Chemo Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
