About The Position

The Oncology Research Nurse Coordinator provides leadership and manages multiple complex oncology trials and research projects within the Regional One Health Institute at Regional One Health. The role promotes research, accelerates research processes, and drives participant accrual. The coordinator works with sponsors, investigators, the clinical team, and the research team throughout the trial lifecycle to clarify expectations and timelines, ensure research compliance, perform or coordinate applicable research procedures, and support subject safety and protocol compliance.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an approved nursing school or program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Tennessee.
• At least 1 year of oncology and clinical research experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in oncology as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 1 year of experience enrolling subjects in clinical trial research.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an approved nursing school or program.
• Research certification.
• Three or more years of experience in oncology as a Registered Nurse.
• Three or more years of experience enrolling subjects in clinical trial research.

Responsibilities

• Work with sponsors throughout the trial lifecycle to ensure clear understanding of expectations and timelines.
• Work with investigators and the clinical team throughout the trial lifecycle to ensure research compliance.
• Perform and/or coordinate research procedures as applicable to the position.
• Perform nursing procedures related to research, as applicable, while ensuring subject safety and protocol compliance.
• Work with the research team to achieve team goals and promote cohesive operations.
• Promote research, accelerate research processes, and drive accrual.
