About The Position

Requirements

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintained thereafter.
Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintained thereafter.
At least six months to one year of RN oncology experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions according to protocol.
Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment responses and side effects.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
Follow oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
Communicate clinical changes, laboratory results, and diagnostic results to physicians.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with the oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
