About The Position

This position is for an Oncology Outpatient RN working 32 hours per week. Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) license
Oncology experience
Ability to perform patient assessments
Collaboration skills
Data analysis skills for care planning
Ability to implement and evaluate care plans
Commitment to continuous learning and skill enhancement
Participation in nursing councils or committees
Minimum 80% attendance in council/committee meetings (in person or by phone)
Adherence to job performance standards including advancements in Clinical Ladder

Responsibilities

Performs patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes.
Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
Analyzes collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes.
Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with work class performance levels.
Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
Apply for nursing council or committee and be vested on one council at least every 5 years. 80% attendance in person or by phone is required. Advancements in Clinical Ladder will be reflected in yearly application process and is expected for job performance standards.
