About The Position

This position is for an Oncology Outpatient RN working 32 hours per week. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Oncology experience
  • Ability to perform patient assessments
  • Collaboration skills
  • Data analysis skills for care planning
  • Ability to implement and evaluate care plans
  • Commitment to continuous learning and skill enhancement
  • Participation in nursing councils or committees
  • Minimum 80% attendance in council/committee meetings (in person or by phone)
  • Adherence to job performance standards including advancements in Clinical Ladder

Responsibilities

  • Performs patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes.
  • Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
  • Analyzes collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes.
  • Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with work class performance levels.
  • Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
  • Apply for nursing council or committee and be vested on one council at least every 5 years. 80% attendance in person or by phone is required. Advancements in Clinical Ladder will be reflected in yearly application process and is expected for job performance standards.
