About The Position

The Supervisor, Clinical Operations Oncology RN is responsible for supervising the clinical staff and clinical operations of the Oncology department. The Supervisor is expected to manage the overall unit, including budget management, scheduling, payroll, overall safety of the unit, ensuring policies/procedures are accurate and complete, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Although not a staff nurse, they will be expected to step into direct patient care if an urgent need arises. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Supervisory experience in an Oncology department
  • Experience with budget management
  • Experience with scheduling
  • Experience with payroll
  • Knowledge of unit safety protocols
  • Familiarity with developing and maintaining policies/procedures
  • Experience with staffing level management
