About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Outpatient Nursing Services (OPNS) Oncology RN with specialized skills to provide care in an outpatient setting. The role will focus on areas including infusion therapy, chemotherapy, and some wound care. The position provides an opportunity to work closely with a small group of patients, fostering nourishing relationships and providing personalized care. Given the rural location, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about performing a wide range of general nursing duties.

Requirements

  • Current ONS Provider certification required
  • Current, unencumbered RN license from Utah or a compact state
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Knowledge of infection control principles, patient safety techniques, and prevention of adverse reactions to medications and treatments
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to maintain composure in rapidly changing situations
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including oral, written, and listening abilities
  • Ability to manage sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality
  • Capable of handling stressful situations with professionalism and emotional maturity
  • Reliable and punctual regarding work schedule
  • Flexible and willing to accept additional duties as assigned
  • Must have full COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption
  • Holiday Coverage Required
  • Less than 1 year of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Current wound care certification preferred but not required
