About The Position

Moab Regional Hospital is seeking to hire a qualified Outpatient Nursing Services (OPNS) Oncology RN with specialized skills to provide care in an outpatient setting. Specific areas of responsibility will include infusion therapy, chemotherapy, and some wound care. This position has the opportunity to work closely with a small group of patients and so will understand the value of cultivating nourishing relationships. Due to the rural location of MRH, the right candidate will be excited to perform a wide range of general nursing duties.

Requirements

Current ONS Provider certification required
Current, unencunbered Utah or compact state RN license
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Knowledge of infection control principles, patient safety techniques, and prevention of adverse reactions to medications/treatments
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to maintain same in situations with rapidly changing circumstances
Self-motivated and able to work successfully both independently and as part of a team
Great customer service and communication skills, including oral, written, and listening skills
Able to receive and manage sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times
Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally; emotionally mature
Reliable and timely with work schedule
Flexibility and willingness to accept other duties as assigned
Have full COVID-19 vaccination, or approved exemption

Nice To Haves

Current Wound Care certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities
