Oncology Nurse Weekend Only Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position with 24 hours weekly, working nights (7pm-7am) exclusively on weekends (WOW - Weekend Only Work). The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Oncology Unit (2A) is a 10-bed unit providing care to Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients. Nurses can build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while developing specialty skills related to chemotherapy and oncology care. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome. This position offers premium pay for WOW shifts.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- Chemo Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
