About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit (2A) at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with a Weekend Only Work (WOW) schedule, involving nights (7pm-7am). The unit is a 10-bed facility providing care to patients requiring Chemotherapy, Cancer Support, Hospice, Telemetry, and Post-Op services. Nurses will develop skills in a med/surg environment and gain specialty knowledge in chemotherapy and oncology care. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are encouraged to apply. This role offers premium pay for WOW shifts and is benefit-eligible.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- Chemo Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).

Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
- Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
