Oncology Nurse Full Time Days
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm) and is benefit-eligible. The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Oncology Unit (2A) is a 10-bed unit providing care to Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients. Nurses will have the opportunity to build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while also developing specialty skills related to chemotherapy and oncology care. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- Chemo Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position.
Responsibilities
