About The Position

As an Oncology Nurse Educator for the oncology portfolio (Lung and GI) in the Northwest region, you will play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives through the provision of nurse education. AstraZeneca’s vision in Oncology is to help patients by redefining the cancer-treatment paradigm, with the aim of bringing a broad pipeline of next-generation medicines focused principally on seven tumor areas - breast, ovarian, lung, gynecology, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, and hematological cancers. As well as other tumor types, these are being targeted through five key platforms - immunotherapy, the genetic drivers of cancer and resistance, DNA damage repair, and antibody drug conjugates underpinned by personalized healthcare and biomarker technologies. With mentorship from the West Lung/GI Oncology Nurse Educator Director, the Oncology Nurse Educator will apply Nurse Education strategies and deliver education to community and academic institutions, hospitals, health care providers, and pharmacies by using their professional expertise and clinical training.
