The Oncology Nurse provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. This role involves flexible scheduling with options for 3 12-hour shifts, 4 10-hour shifts, or 5 8-hour shifts. The nurse will manage patient care based on knowledge of cancer, cancer treatment, and side effects, utilizing quality and evidence-based practice. They will work closely with more experienced clinicians for guidance and supervision. Specific duties may vary depending on the department (Infusion/Treatment or Radiation Oncology).
