Oncology Infusion Nurse Practitioner ( APRN)
About The Position
Care New England is seeking a full-time Oncology/Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join their Breast Health Center at Women & Infants Hospitals. This provider will be an integral part of a department focused on collaborative, team-oriented care. The Breast Health Center combines advanced technologies and a full array of treatment options including mammography, breast MRI, surgery, genetic counseling and prevention, lymphedema, rehabilitation, and survivorship programs. Integrative therapy services include nutritionists, navigators, therapy dogs, and support groups to enhance patient well-being throughout their journey. The role involves working within an established multispecialty breast health group specializing in breast and gynecologic oncology care. The position is Monday-Friday, days, with no call. Core responsibilities include responding to clinical queries, patient assessment and monitoring, medication dosing, monitoring for adverse reactions, and providing patient education. The provider will ensure timely access to care, continuity, and a seamless patient experience, utilizing the EPIC system. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Certified by ANCC or AANPCB.
- Active Rhode Island APRN, RN, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in oncology, women’s health, or surgical care preferred
- Experience with chemotherapy administration and responding to toxicities related to treatment preferred
