Oncology Clinic Nurse - RN
About The Position
The Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and creates a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. The nurse honors patients’ mind, body, and spirit by respecting human dignity and each individual’s uniqueness. Nursing practices are based on evidence and current research, as well as hospital and department policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity. The nurse promotes nursing excellence through helping relationships with nursing staff and across other disciplines, and serves as an exemplar of compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Some RN positions require maintaining ACLS certification; consult departmental guidelines.
