Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Valid, unencumbered nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
Must complete a minimum of 12 CEUs annually with a focus on disease group specialty if certification is not already disease group specific
If completing virtual care activities that may include multi-state practice, an active compact/multistate license (eNLC) is required within 60 days of hire. Employees in role prior to 11/09/2025 will have until their next renewal date to achieve compact status

Nice To Haves

3 years within oncology, with at least 1 year in assigned disease group
OCN, AOCN, APPN, or CBCN
BMTCN certification required within 24 months

Responsibilities

Synthesis of new patient medical records in order to confirm appropriate scheduling of provider visits
Facilitates receipt of additional records as needed
Provides real time support to specialty referral coordinators to assist with scheduling
Acts as primary clinical contact for patients with questions ahead of consult visit
Addresses real or perceived barriers to care identified during initial phone consult
Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team
Provides additional resource referral as needed
Confirms visit readiness
