About The Position
Join Our Team as an Onboarding Specialist! The Senior Company is seeking to add a warm, organized, and reliable Onboarding Specialist to our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression, helping new hires feel supported, and keeping the office running smoothly day to day. You’ll be a key part of our team in either our Springfield, Totowa, or Hackensack locations. If you enjoy multitasking, staying organized, and being part of a supportive team environment, we’d love to meet you! Training Location: Totowa, NJ Hiring Locations: Springfield NJ & Hackensack NJ Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Requirements
- Experience in onboarding, HR support, or a similar administrative role
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Friendly, clear communicator with great people skills
- Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home care or healthcare is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all visitors with a friendly and professional attitude
- Help guide new hires through the onboarding process, creating a smooth and positive experience
- Explain company policies, benefits, and culture during onboarding and orientation
- Collect, review, and verify applicant documentation in the office to ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate
- Partner with internal teams to provide updates on applicants and hiring progress
- Keep employee records accurate, organized, and up to date
- Assist with employment verifications in line with state regulations and CAHC standards
- Help schedule caregivers for internal trainings
- Maintain and update the ETS database
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
- Prepare onboarding folders and materials for employees and clients
- Support general office operations and team projects as needed
- Monitor and restock office supplies, including PPE
- Assist with additional administrative projects as assigned
