About The Position

Interstate Parking is seeking an Onboarding Specialist for their growing team to provide front-line support across the employee lifecycle in a multi-state organization, ensuring HR processes are accurate, consistent, and compliant. This role supports managers and employees through hiring, onboarding, and employee changes while maintaining accurate employee data across HR systems. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent HR-related experience
  • 1–3 years of HR, HR operations, or employee lifecycle support experience
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
  • Organized, dependable, and able to follow established processes

Responsibilities

  • Own key stages of the employee lifecycle, including hiring and onboarding in a multi-state environment
  • Support high-volume and seasonal hiring by coordinating job postings, onboarding steps, and required documentation
  • Prepare, route, and track offer letters using approved templates
  • Coordinate and monitor pre-employment requirements, including E-Verify, background checks, and drug screenings, ensuring compliance and timely completion
  • Track, collect, and follow up on all new hire paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Enter, update, and maintain employee data accurately in HRIS and related systems
  • Assist with processing personnel action forms (PAFs) for rehires, transfers, and other employee updates
  • Manage and respond to inquiries in the HR inbox, routing or escalating items as appropriate
  • Respond to manager and employee questions related to HR processes, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure employee records and documentation are complete, compliant, and maintained in a timely manner
  • Follow established HR procedures and escalate issues or compliance concerns as needed
