Requirements

  • A valid driver's license from state of residence is required.
  • Basic knowledge of talent acquisition principles, practices, and procedures is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills
  • A customer-focused, action-oriented approach

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onboarding contact for internal and external candidates and answer HR-related questions.
  • Manage multiple onboarding tasks simultaneously.
  • Coordinate payroll setup and IT access to ensure employee readiness before the first day.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and communicate updates to hiring managers and HR partners.
  • Build professional employee relationships, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions using onboarding survey feedback.
  • Track temporary employee recruiting with staffing agencies and assist with the onboarding process for interns, co-ops, and high school career programs.
  • Track recruiting programs monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Track referral, retention, relocation, and sign-on bonus programs.
  • Handle reference checks and verify employment status, drug screens, health confirmations, and background checks.
  • Support I-9 compliance audits and completion of internal forms, including PAF and State of Tennessee job forms.
  • Monitor the applicant tracking system to support an efficient hiring process.
  • Support HR education, training, and outreach efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
