About The Position

Bonterra is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Onboarding Consultant to guide new clients through a seamless and successful integration with our software solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring clients quickly realize the value and benefits of Bonterra Tech's offerings. The Onboarding Consultant will lead and manage the onboarding process for new Bonterra Tech clients from kick-off to successful adoption. This involves conducting discovery sessions to understand client needs, developing tailored onboarding plans, providing expert guidance, and acting as the primary point of contact during the onboarding phase. Collaboration with sales, product, and support teams is essential, as is the creation of comprehensive onboarding documentation and tracking of key success metrics. The role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvement within the onboarding workflow.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role such as onboarding, implementation, or technical consulting, preferably within a SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and experience leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to improve productivity, accelerate problem solving, and enhance customer outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines.
  • Problem-solving attitude with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and project management tools (Salesforce and Monday.com)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data migration and system configuration is a plus.
  • Experience with Bonterra products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the onboarding process for new Bonterra Tech clients from kick-off to successful adoption.

  • Develop and deliver tailored onboarding plans, including configuration, data migration, and user training.
  • Provide expert guidance and best practices to clients on utilizing Bonterra Tech's software effectively.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding phase, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and support teams to ensure a coordinated and positive client experience.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive onboarding documentation, training materials, and guides.
  • Track and report on onboarding progress, client satisfaction, and key success metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the onboarding workflow.
