Onboard Entertainer
About The Position
The Musician/Onboard Entertainer travels from car to car onboard a moving train providing entertainment and customer service for passengers during rail excursions. This role is responsible for entertaining passengers onboard general excursions and specialty trains when requested, ensuring all guests have equal interaction and entertainment. The entertainer will curate songs based on specialty celebrations like birthdays, honeymoons, and anniversaries. Additionally, the role involves assisting with boarding and de-boarding train cars, complying with BSR policies, procedures, and safety programs, and supporting the onboard train crew with passenger customer service by communicating guest needs, answering questions, and providing family-friendly entertainment. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Two years of entertainment experience.
- Ability to play an acoustic instrument and/or sing.
- Must be able to interact effectively with coworkers and customers.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with morning, night, weekend and holiday hours.
- Must be able to work on a moving train.
- Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 0-100 degrees.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
