About The Position

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide. Job Description Summary: The Field Scheduler will develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules on a portfolio of PV solar projects to maintain timely and profitable job completion. Position requires travel to jobsites in the region to take the lead in developing and maintaining schedules within the assigned region. Depending on the workload, the scheduler may be assigned to support projects in other regions. In this role, the field scheduler will closely work and coordinate with other business units such as battery storage, high voltage, business development. This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Yerington, NV. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Requirements

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years construction scheduling experience.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is required.
• High proficiency and experience using P6 Software required.
• Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Solid understanding of construction-related Critical Path Method scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility.
• Ability to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Scheduler Lead Responsibilities Lead schedule meetings and act as SOLV’s SME on scheduling topics. Provide training to the onsite project management team.
• Project Scheduling & Analysis Develop and maintain realistic EPC project schedules using P6 software. Analyze project documents (drawings, contracts) to form the basis of EPC schedules. Perform quantity take-offs to establish accurate activity durations. Consult with internal teams (engineering, procurement, project management, field) for feedback. Seek feedback from external stakeholders (owners, consultants) to enhance schedule accuracy and buy-in. Ensure schedules adhere to CPM best practices with sound logic and realistic durations. Attend project meetings (weekly coordination, owner) to gather updates and address schedule issues. Update schedules bi-monthly, incorporating actuals and monitoring critical path deviations. Propose corrective actions to the project team based on schedule analysis. Communicate schedule updates to the project teams, and the scheduling manager. Perform "what-if" analysis for changing conditions, on integrated multiple schedules. Participate in internal and external meetings, analyzing all scopes for schedule mitigation, propose solutions. Maintain comprehensive delay logs. Maintain all relevant contract information, including LD exposure with custom P6 reports.
• Training & Data Management Train other personnel in scheduling procedures. Assist business development, owners in analyzing and improving project schedules. Visit job sites to build rapport and understand site-specific details. Support the maintenance of the P6 database (project/activity codes, file management, comments, notebooks). Assist with reporting efforts, ensuring core schedule structure and activity codes are maintained.
