Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Engineering field.
  • Five years’ experience as a Project Lead in the Good and Dairy Industries working for a manufacturer or an engineering consultant.
  • Proficiency in using engineering tools and software to: Develop project schedules and track progress against milestones and deadlines.
  • Develop project budgets and track status.
  • Manage project meeting notes and follow-up lists.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward.

Nice To Haves

  • BMS/BAS experience is not required, but a basic understanding of the systems.
  • Previous experience in a mission-critical facility.
  • Previous experience with commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly update construction conferences with clients
  • Host contractor weekly update and coordination meetings
  • Coordinate with the design team to answer contractor RFI’s
  • Coordinate and issue Submittals
  • Coordinate with all parties involved during construction phases – including clients, project managers, vendors, contractors, landlords, building departments, etc.
  • Ensure uninterrupted equipment operation in critical environments; this entails tailoring unique solutions for HVAC/generator/utility upgrades to make sure the site never loses functionality.
  • Create Method of Procedure (MOPs) for clients detailing each step of a specific task on a project
  • Ensure client relationships are strengthened, and trust is sustained through exceptional work ethic
  • Ability to review and interpret construction drawings.
  • Update schedule takes use of client online construction portal (Project Mates).
