On-Site Commissary - Full Time
About The Position
TurnKey Corrections is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Full Time Commissary & Facility Support Associate to support daily operations within a correctional facility in Kansas City, Missouri. This position is responsible for assisting with commissary distribution and warehouse activities, customer service, and basic equipment troubleshooting. Storage is provided on-site, and products are delivered directly to the facility. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively with a small team. A comprehensive background check is required for employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- One year of warehouse, inventory, or related experience.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
Responsibilities
- Distribute commissary products to detainees in accordance with company and facility procedures.
- Respond to and resolve detainee inquiries and issues related to commissary operations.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including order preparation.
- Complete basic computer-based tasks and data entry as required.
- Troubleshoot and assist with the maintenance of on-site equipment, including: Computers, Network hub devices, Kiosks, Vending equipment
- Navigate and work across multiple software platforms and company systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
