About The Position

The Tractor Technician is a permanent, full-time position. You will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technician/Mechanics and Tractor Technician/Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.

Requirements

• Licensed Tractor Technician
• Experience working on tractors as a Heavy Equipment Apprentice or Technician
• Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory
• Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities
• Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
• Basic level computer skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Hold a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner.
• Diagnose problems found during inspections.
• Prescribe the correct remedial action for identified issues.
• Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship.
• Perform paperless work order entry.
