About The Position

Enthuse is an education-led marketing agency focused on teaching the world to love client brands. As a fast-growing, women-owned and led agency, we create engaging content and unforgettable experiences. We also support women entrepreneurs by donating a portion of our profits. This field-based role, located in San Antonio/Austin, TX, is responsible for the success of a portfolio of Pre-Mix (RTD & FMB) bev-alc brands within a defined territory. The role will connect with a local sales network, build customer relationships, and drive brand and educational opportunities. Performance will be measured against key performance indicators for On Premise goals. The Activation Agent will analyze the territory and individual accounts to identify priority promotional, educational, experiential, and merchandising opportunities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the beer or spirits industry, ready-to-drink experience preferred.
  • Confident and charismatic with excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to tailor communications for a variety of On Premise environments.
  • A self-starter that can implement a course of action or plan and see it through to a successful outcome with minimal supervision or oversight.
  • Must live and travel within assigned territory with access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel on an ad hoc basis, including nights and weekends required.
  • Computer and tablet literacy with the ability to use software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and e-mail programs such as Outlook.
  • Ability to use Business Information Tools, including performance dashboards, commercial sales platforms, and specialized customer tools.
  • Proven track record in building relationships with customers as well as internal associates.
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify customer and market needs and challenges.
  • Diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments (internal and external stakeholders).
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Desire for mentorship and willingness to mentor others, contribute to team culture.
  • Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers to plan, design, and execute activities that drive commercial growth within the channel.
  • Drive brand presence, performance, and advocacy in select On Premise accounts using strategic engagement activities and business-focused solutions.
  • Identify activation opportunities and propose client brands as solutions, activating quickly and efficiently.
  • Install and maintain appropriate point-of-sale/printed materials within accounts, ensuring they are clean and current.
  • Plan, book, and deploy consumer experiences at the bar.
  • Impart key brand attributes to clients, trade, and consumers.
  • Partner with client commercial teams to identify commercial opportunities supporting business growth.
  • Maintain open communication with client and agency stakeholders and support resources.
  • Complete accurate and timely management of agency initiatives, including budget and expense management, reporting responsibilities, and tracking/management of performance data using agency-appointed platforms.
  • Participate in all internal training initiatives.
  • Manage point of sale, assets, and warehouse inventory.
  • Maintain all legal and marketing code guidelines.
  • Positively impact Client portfolio brand performance in stores within the designated journey plan.
