About The Position

The Residential Counselor provides direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of members served. This is an on-call position with available shifts including AM (7:00 PM - 3:30 PM), PM (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), and NOC (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with days varying as needed. The expected starting wage range is $23.00 - $23.71, with geographic differentials applied. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. Contra Costa Hope House serves adults aged 18-59 experiencing an acute mental health emergency, with older adults admitted on a case-by-case basis. The average length of stay is 7-10 days.

Requirements

High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting
Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.
