About The Position

The On Call Residential Advisor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and well-managed residential environment for residents. The advisor acts as a liaison between residents and management, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts effectively. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays on an on-call basis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse resident populations.
• Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and conflict resolution techniques.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication skills daily to effectively listen to and address resident concerns, ensuring clear and respectful dialogue.
• Conflict resolution skills are essential for mediating disputes and fostering a harmonious living environment.
• Time management and organizational skills help in conducting thorough rounds and documenting incidents accurately.

• Previous experience in residential advising, campus housing, or a related role.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to after-hours emergencies and urgent resident needs within the residential community.
• Conduct regular rounds of residential facilities to monitor safety, security, and compliance with community standards.
• Serve as a point of contact for residents to address concerns, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance on residential policies.
• Document incidents, maintenance issues, and resident interactions accurately and report them to appropriate management personnel.
• Collaborate with campus or facility staff to coordinate resources and support services for residents as needed.
