About The Position

MRC's PineCrest is Lufkin's premier continuing care retirement community. We are currently seeking an On-Call Resident Services Driver to help transport residents to appointments, outings, and events while building meaningful relationships along the way. This role is more than just driving — you’ll also have the chance to support our Life Enrichment Team, assist with activities, and be part of fun community outings and events.

Requirements

• A safe driving record.
• A passion for working with seniors!
• The ability to handle multiple transportation requests at a time, and if necessary, prioritize, and diplomatically communicate the established priorities residents and staff.
• The ability to project a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner to residents, families and co-workers.
• Friendly, dependable, and patient.
• Enjoys working with seniors.
• Safe, confident driver.
• Flexible and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all transportation needs for our retirement community campus.
• Operate vehicles such as a bus, van, and car.
• Support the Life Enrichment Team.
• Assist with activities.
• Be part of community outings and events.
