About The Position

Hospice of Chattanooga is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will identify patient and family needs, coordinate care, and offer preventative measures and compassionate support. Requirements

Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting.
Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
Hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine, providing unwavering support in critical moments.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Maintain accurate documentation in the patient's home and within agency and regulatory standards.
Support patients' families by sharing knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
