About The Position

The Ciocca Center Program Assistant supports the overall functions of the Center. They will assist with program management, industry research, building relationships with founders and business professionals, scheduling and facilitating program sessions, maintaining an updated database and documents of startups, marketing, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 15-19 hours per week.
  • An ability to work remote and complete responsibilities online, if needed.
  • Must be located in California. SCU cannot approve remote work in any other state.
  • Willingness to work both set hours and flexible hours, depending on weekly event schedule
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Available for Zoom interview if selected for interview
  • Employees approved to telecommute are required to perform their work within one of these states: California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Illinois.
  • If hired, individuals must independently provide proof of their eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or a deep interest in entrepreneurship and working with startups is a plus.
  • Bachelors preferred and 0-2 years work experience preferred
  • Ability to work during year round, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general office clerical responsibilities
  • Assist Center staff in various tasks and projects, as assigned.
  • Assist running various Ciocca Center programs
  • Assist with research and data analysis for Princeton Review submittal
