About The Position
We are now hiring an On-call Intake Coordinator to join our team! We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care, and we’re looking for a dedicated On-call Intake Coordinator to help ensure our nursing staff is effectively scheduled to deliver the best care to our patients. As an On-call Intake Coordinator, you serve as the primary liaison between patients and clinical staffs, managing the initial referral process, verifying insurance eligibility, and entering patient data into our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. You will ensure compliance with government regulations and ensure that adequate staffing is in place to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your role will be essential in supporting the clinical staffs, coordinating patients referral and ensuring smooth operations within the company.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of home health, hospice, or healthcare Intake/Scheduling experience
- High school diploma, GED (bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience)
- Understanding of Home Health or Hospice Intake and clinical staffing
- Sound knowledge of the Medicare rules and regulations including JCAHO regulation
- Willing to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, holidays, and/or on other shifts when necessary
- Capable of handling high call volume
Nice To Haves
- KanTime EMR experience is a plus
