About The Position

Join the Good Shepherd Assisted Living & Memory Care team as an On‑Call Home Health Aide and play an essential role in ensuring residents receive high‑quality care. This dynamic position is a great fit for those who excel in fast‑paced, varied work environments and want to be part of a supportive, resident‑centered team. On-call duties include coverage at both the Sauk Rapids and Becker Campuses. The schedule includes Monday through Thursday 4:30 PM – 6:30 AM every 3rd week.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred
• Must be Active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry - OR - provide certificate of completion from an approved 75-hour Nursing Assistant course
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful leisure and recreational activities
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and exercise
• Assist with medication administration under the direction and supervision of the RN
• Accurately document medication administration in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR)
• Report any changes in resident condition to the RN promptly
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
