On-Call Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide
About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking an On-Call Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. This is an on-call position to cover hours, as needed, which may include: 7:00am - 2:00pm, 4:00pm - 7:00pm, on weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher.
- Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register.
- Maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.
