The On-Call Facilities Maintenance Person position at St. Francis Center is a unique opportunity to use practical repair skills in service of a mission-centered community. This role is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience, a flexible schedule, and a steady, respectful approach to working in residential settings. As an On-Call Facilities Maintenance Person, you will help keep St. Francis Center’s housing sites safe, clean, functional, and welcoming for residents in Permanent Supportive Housing. This position supports basic building and unit needs, including routine maintenance requests, minor plumbing stoppages, light fixture replacement, light painting, lock and door hardware replacement, unit touch-ups, and other general repairs that do not require a licensed contractor. At SFC, maintenance is more than fixing what is broken. It is part of creating stable homes where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and care. St. Francis Center (SFC), a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado, was established in June 1983. SFC is a refuge for adults who are homeless in the metro Denver area. Our programs and services focus on daytime shelter, social services, health and wellness, housing, employment, and outreach. At the SFC Day Center, guests have the opportunity to work with a variety of specialists, depending on their individual needs, which is often the first step toward transformation and ultimately self-sufficiency. At our permanent supportive housing sites, we focus on helping residents remain stable in their housing by providing trauma-informed case management and connecting them to resources in the wider community.
