The Events Team Member is expected to provide excellent guest service to all guests and to always display a vast amount of knowledge of the facility's programs and offerings. This position is on call and is not guaranteed a certain number of hours per week.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Must be available evenings and weekends
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Must have excellent guest service skills
Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow Team Members
Must work well with others and have strong work ethic
Customer service and cash handling experience preferred or quick study
Must be able to lift 30 pounds waist high
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
Will be required to operate a cash register, credit card machine.
Facility has intermittent noise

Responsibilities

Setup rooms with tables and chairs according to floorplan.
Selling concessions and bar items and use a cash register
Assisting in clean up of the facility after events
Bussing and serving tables
Tear down rooms after events including stacking chairs and tables
Vacuum the facility when needed
Polishing silverware and glassware
Serving drinks from an outdoor tent during outdoor events
Stock concessions and bar with items needed
Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
