About The Position

Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable and professional CDL Class A, B, or C on-call drivers to support our growing team. This position is ideal for drivers seeking supplemental income or a flexible work schedule, and is a great fit for Uber, Lyft, or other gig workers who want extra income and a steady, reliable company to call home. When called in to work, you'll run a dedicated local route departing around 4:00 – 5:00 AM from Piscataway, NJ. The work involves touch freight - scanning, loading, and unloading boxes for final-mile and dedicated shipper customers. Customer expectations are high, so we're looking for drivers who are punctual, careful, and detail-oriented, and who take pride in doing the job right.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A, B, or C license
• Clean MVR and criminal background
• Prior truck-driving experience strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and punctuality
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to safety, customer service, and equipment care
• Flexibility to be on call, covering shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience with touch freight (scanning, loading, and unloading boxes)

Responsibilities

• Run dedicated local routes departing early morning from Piscataway, NJ
• Scan, load, and unload boxes for final-mile and dedicated shipper customers
