About The Position

This is a part-time, on-call position perfect for those seeking a flexible schedule and hands-on experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living, skill-building, and personal care, while ensuring a clean, safe, and respectful environment as part of a compassionate, collaborative team. On-Call positions are temporary and do not include state benefits, but offer flexible scheduling and the opportunity to gain experience and make a real impact. A minimum of 32 hours per month is required, with 16 of those hours on the weekend.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs regularly
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the language effectively
• Ability to lift, bend, push and/or pull 50 pounds on a continuous basis to assist clients in meeting their needs and maintaining safety within the home.

• Active CNA license on the Nebraska registry (allows for more flexible training options)
