About The Position
As an On-Call Cruise Ambassador, you bring an approachable, steady presence to a fast‑paced environment, engaging with diverse travelers and offering clear, supportive communication that creates an organized and welcoming experience. You greet passengers warmly, welcome them to Boston, and share helpful local insights to enhance their visit. You stay composed under pressure, quickly assess situations, and respond thoughtfully. With strong professionalism, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, you help maintain a positive, reliable atmosphere that supports safe and efficient passenger movement.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Boston’s vibrant tourism industry and local points of interest.
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker’s Identification Credential (TWIC).
Nice To Haves
- Prior ambassador or hospitality experience preferred.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Creates a welcoming, well‑organized experience by greeting and assisting passengers throughout arrival and departure.
- Provides clear and accurate information on terminal procedures, transportation options, and Boston attractions.
- Addresses passenger questions and concerns with professionalism, resolving issues when possible and escalating when necessary.
- Supports smooth terminal operations by directing foot traffic, assisting with logistical needs, and adhering to all safety and security protocols.
