This role involves setting up all meeting rooms to guest specifications, which includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials like staging, tables, chairs, and dancefloors from storage to meeting rooms. The attendant will also break down meeting rooms after events, return supplies to storage, and maintain a cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms to ensure they remain presentable. Requirements

• Must have a self-starting personality with an even disposition
• Can communicate well with guests
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
• Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in the meeting rooms
• Must be comfortable with considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift for room set up and break down

Responsibilities

• Setting up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest
• Transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms
• Breaking down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded
• Returning supplies to the storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function
• Maintaining established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms
