About The Position

The On-Air Talent is responsible for anchoring live or recorded radio shows, creating and producing show content, and coordinating guests. This role also involves providing breaking news and severe weather coverage when necessary, assisting with show logs and imaging updates, and managing the radio station's social media presence related to the show. The position requires collaboration with the Program Director and General Manager to ensure smooth program operations.

Responsibilities

• Anchor an on-air live or recorded radio show or program
• Create and produce show content
• Coordinate and schedule any in-studio or call-in guests for the show or program
• Provide breaking news and severe weather coverage during the show or program when necessary
• Assist the Program Director to ensure show or program logs are correct and imaging is updated
• Update the radio station’s social media pages with content and information about the show or program
• Perform other duties as assigned by the radio market Program Director and General Manager
