On Air Personality (Pipeline)
About The Position
Audacy is seeking on-air talent with a passion for connecting with listeners and a mastery of content creation across multiple platforms. This pipeline posting is for future opportunities, aiming to build a talent pool of individuals interested in becoming part of the Audacy team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating engaging and relatable conversations for on-air, online, and on-site interactions. Strong technical skills, including familiarity with broadcast equipment and audio editing software, along with social media expertise, are essential. Audacy is looking for creative thinkers with a strong work ethic who are willing to participate in station appearances and interact with clients. Successful applicants will be contacted directly when a suitable opening arises. Positions can be located in any of Audacy's top 35 markets across the country.
Requirements
- Excellent communicator with strong creative skills.
- Solid production skills.
- Strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems such as Audio Vault and RCS Master Control.
- Knowledge of the format and audience required.
- Excellent on-air voice with demonstrated track record.
- A valid driver's license.
- Satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check.
- If the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.
Responsibilities
- Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
- Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence.
- Protect the station’s FCC license.
- Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift.
- Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly.
- Operate the control board and perform production work.
- Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
- Other duties as required by management.
